Welcome to Bowie Junior High!

It is my pleasure as the principal of Bowie Junior High School to welcome you to our website. Our website is a great resource for students, parents, and the community members of Bowie. I hope you find our website useful, visiting it often as we attempt to communicate dates and times of upcoming events.

My family and I feel blessed to be a part of the Bowie community. My wife Margaret and I moved to Bowie in 2002 with our two children and have found Bowie the place we all consider home. I have worked for Bowie High School as a teacher, coach, and assistant principal up until 2009 when I was given the opportunity to become Bowie Junior High's principal.

It is with great responsibility that I assume the role of instructional leader at BJHS. While striving to be the very best, it is my philosophy to do what is best for students with every decision that is made. I am able to make these decisions alongside our faculty and staff with continued support from our elected school board members, administrative staff, community members, and most importantly our parents.
